An example for a typical cut. 18 ribs for a model aircraft from a balsa sheet 1/16 x 3 x 36 takes approximately 2 minutes of laser time. Harder material such as plywoods will use more laser time.

* 1/8 aircraft ply will give an inferior cut due to the adhesives used. Mutipule laminates such as 5 and 7 ply will burn giving a chared edge. For best results, used two 1/16 ply laminated together after cutting.
